Mirror, Mirror Art Exhibition

The themes of art are usually consistent. They are always about translations and relationships. That is to say, the artist investigates the notion of self and their relationship to self, the other and their relationship to other, the world and their relationship to it and what it the nature of their spirituality and their relationship to such.

Art is a mirror of the culture from which it originates and there is really nothing new. what it new is that every artist responds to common concerns in their own way, using their individual resource as a reflection of themselves.

"Mirror, mirror'' is a show by four artists expressing individual interests from their own fresh perspectives. Join Britt Alpe, Sallyann Hingston, Tracy Porteous and Kim Shaw on the 13th of July from 5:30pm to 7:30 to preview the exhibition. Viewing will finish on the 1st of August 2017.
