In the enclaves of the aptly named Rose St resides artist and bohemian queen Micky Light. Stepping off the street as the gate clinks behind, there's a sense of wonder of what lies ahead. Rounding the corner you enter another world, Micky's haven. Wild with old English roses, chooks running hither, we wend our way up the path to her painting shed. Such a delight, all of it; her, her painting and her place. Such a privilege to be invited in. Micky is preparing for an exhibition coming up at Railway St Studios in March 2018.
