I liken my paintings to adventures in colour and aim to convey a sense of escapade, of romping across the canvas with joyful abandon.
I’m fascinated with the way organic, free form shapes, lines and colour interact, revealing unexpected designs and a sense of serendipity. I respond to the physical act of painting, balancing play with informed, intentional decisions. Energetic, animated, gestural brush strokes, compositions that are simultaneously flowing and considered along with bold colour palettes result in playful, uplifting works that radiate joy.
